Recognize Anaphylaxis

Anaphylaxis is a severe, life-threatening allergic reaction. Look for these warning signs:

  • Difficulty breathing or wheezing
  • Swelling of throat, tongue, or lips
  • Rapid or weak pulse
  • Skin reactions: hives, itching, flushing
  • Nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea
  • Dizziness or fainting
